Testing, testing

This is a test post to see if my only connection to the outside world, my iPhone will do the trick throughout November. You will hopefully see a image from google maps of where I am at the moment.

Most useless app in the app store

The app store tops of with this useless application “I am Rich“. To quote the description

Art & Lifestyle - Not for everyone

The red icon on your iPhone or iPod touch always remind you (and others when you show it  to them) that you were able to afford this.

It’s a work of art with no hidden functions at all.

After pressing the (i) on the main page, a secret mantra will be shown. This may help you to stay rich, healthy and successful.

Sign up campaign against Norwegian iPhone plans

iPhone is set to launch in Norway July 11 like the other country’s in the first roll out. A company called TeliaSonera is the cell phone provider who got the contract in the Scandinavian country’s and Netcom is the Norwegian branch of that company.

Our sign up campaign reach out against the poor data caps included in the iTalk plans.

The Norwegian plans are:

  • 100MB/100 SMS/100 minutes for US$80
  • 250MB/250 SMS/250 minutes for US$140
  • 1GB/1000 SMS/1000 minutes for US$220

We have 800+  sign ups in our campaign atm. Good numbers for a phone in a little country.

fri-iphone.org is a collaboration project with Bjørn at rowplace.com

Update: Netcom heard the voice of 3701 Norwegians. They now have a 4. plan caled iConnect with free use of data for US$100 a month.
